WOOL DRIER BALL HEADS

If you've got some wool drier balls hanging around and you don't want to use them to dry your clothes, make them into snowmen heads!

First thing I do is color their cheeks with a little make-up, then poke a hole between their cheeks for a nose.

Next, using either embroidery thread or crochet cotton, I sew their faces on and glue on their noses and eyes.

Finally, I make a hat from a sock or other fabric I have hanging around, glue that on their heads and add a jute hanger.

Just look at those happy faces! I think these will be great sellers at my Christmas crafts shows.

I'm ready to craft!

It's a new year, and a new direction for my creative fun. After 16 years as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I decided it was time to put away my stamps and do other things. So I've been having fun getting to know my sewing machine again, visiting fabric shops, browsing on-line craft sites and letting my imagination take over. And it feels great!

I have a new family of gnomes I'm working on right now, as well as a group of adorable snowmen that will be joining my gnomes at this years craft shows.

Check back often to see what I've been up to, what I hope to do, and maybe even what went wrong. And as always, thanks for your support.
